Interview done, I guess I'd rate myself with a 90%. Whether I win or not will depend on how crappy everyone else is I guess :spinner:

If you thought it went well, then in the eyes of the employer it went badly.

The psychology behind this, if you believe you can do the job you will be self confident. The employer will see this as a threat because a competent person is not what they are after but a submissive slave.

There have been times I've been confident and then I never got the job, however when I was not sure about the job or submissive then I got the job. However, in those cases the job will suck because it's not your knowledge they are after or the have other management problems.

The western world is a shit hole because they always pick the wrong guy for the job.

I'll give you a some hints for the next interview.
Be submissive.
Don't be confident that you can deliver.
Even if you know everything, leave gaps in your knowledge so that the employer can correct you. The interviewer will have an orgasm by feeling they are better than you.
Don't have fancy clothes but have peasant clothes like they had during Mao's cultural revolution.

Jordan Peterson says that society is built on a hierarchy of competence.

Also, feels like I only got 4 hours of sleep or so. Super wore out, constipated, and my eyes are on fire. And I can't take a nap because I'm full of coffee and stimulants. I guess I could go work outside, but I don't want to do that :stare:

What Jordan Peterson is saying is irrelevant. He's a fake. He can go suck Benjamin Netanyahu's dick. Oh wait, he already did.

You should apply to this company.
Lumen Orbit raised 2.4 million dollars from investors based on the notion of putting data centers in space, computers that could be used to train AI, or maybe mine crypto. Their argument is that at low enough launch costs the ability to get 24/7 solar power makes power much cheaper to the point that it's worth the cost of the launch:
https://www.lumenorbit.com/
I wonder how many millions I can get promising that I will build fast food restaurants on the moon.

Fake company, like 5 people only on their linkedin https://www.linkedin.com/company/lumenorbit/people/ And a non-remote job listing that doesn't really pay anything https://www.linkedin.com/company/lumenorbit/people/ and also doesn't describe anything.

Woke up to the phone ringing at 8am. Figured it was this eyeglasses place calling to tell me to come pick up my frames. Finally got out of bed around 10am and noticed the number that rang was Morgan Stanley. Checked email and they were trying to schedule another interview at 10am. I wasn't going to let them push me around short notice like this so I responded that any time after noon today or any time tomorrow will be fine. So they scheduled it for 8am tomorrow morning :tard:

A talent specialist hr type guy from morgan stanley called me today over the phone to give tips for the next up coming interview. Stated I was well liked but "the team" felt I was taking too long to answer questions. Not really sure what that means. One of the questions was something like "what are some disadvantages of using Agile". What's a person to do with a question like that at 8am other than ramble? I guess my plan is to attempt to get more than 4 hours of sleep before getting up at 7am, washing a bunch of chewed up ritalin and adderal down with coffee and then show up for their next 8am interview. Perhaps that will speed some things up  Then I'll be a jittery half asleep mess the rest of the day, maybe I'll just go fishing or something.... or do fence work... or try to take a nap... or maybe all of the above

What stupidity is this. You need to be prepped by some specialist HR team just to talk to some manager. I hope you also learned to bow properly.

"what are some disadvantages of using Agile"
You should have said, "it fucking sucks".

And done. We picked up on some questions that were hinted at from the prior interview, so I already had a couple of days to think about what to say. That helped. From there is was some random python + javascript trivia. I recorded everything, tempted to post sound clips of the horrid broken accents that I had to weed through.

Good lord. Morgan Stanley Indians and Russians are the worst.

The thing is that you have no chance to this job. Russians are known to only promote Russians, I've seen it myself. Let one Russian into the team and a few years later they are only Russians. Indians do this as well but aren't as good at it. Russians cannot speak English, once I told a Russian that it was a "freak accident" and he took it personally. They are bunch of fucktards.

Anyway, Morgan Stanley is an evil investment bank. Just demand an outrageous salary and move on.

The pay is shockingly good and it would be working on internal infrastructure tooling stuff, so should be pretty laid back. Russian dude is old, been there 20+ years. I think the fight has left him :yeah:

You should have started to rant about Putin and stuff. If you don't get a job at Morgan Stanley you tell them that you will go to Ukraine as a mercenary.
