Bought a $400 laptop new in box for basically half price on ebay. Curious if it will actually ship or just a scam. The desktop machine with minecraft has been on the fritz and tired of my son bothering me about it

Hmm got excited because I got a notification that it shipped. But upon viewing, there is no tracking number. Just marked as "shipped". hmm

Still no tracking number in ebay. And none of my ups/usps accounts show any inbound packages. So either I'm getting nothing, or getting a box of anthrax, or this is one of those money laundering schemes where you list "items" on ebay way below sales price and when a sucker, errr person buys it, you use a stolen credit card to buy stuff off of amazon and have it gift shipped to the buyer and thus pocket the freshly earned clean paypal money Wondering how I can screw with the seller, still haven't messaged him yet

I guess it is also possible it is just some old man that has no idea what he is doing and he is just trying to get rid of some computer hardware from his failed business endeavors

I just bought expensive braided Ethernet cables, not because I'm worried about EMI interference but rather I hope that the braided shielding should prevent mice from eating the cable.

Ok, latest update, they updated the tracking with an actual usps number. Package being shipped out of new york, which is where the ebay listing stated the item was at. So I guess I am getting something. For appropriate linux compatibility, I need to change out the wifi card. But I'll wait until I have the laptop in hand before I spend any more money on it.

Also, small trucks aren't made for moving dirt. You should buy an excavator and a dump truck.

Supposed to be delivered to day but still in transit and never made it to my local post office Why are all my shipments getting delayed so suddenly?
