Well first of all, I don't have a counselor. This is more of a personal challenge to increase my productivity.

But anyway, hmm, you may be onto something. Last year my wife, with the help of another older friend, convinced my mother-in-law to finally go to marriage counseling. Her husband (wife's father) said that was fine but he wasn't paying for it and he didn't see the need for him to go as he didn't have any problems.
So I paid $500, which at their poor people discount I think came out to about 10 hours of "counseling". After a few months, the gist I got was the counselor told her basically that if she was too scared to get a divorce that she basically needed to divide the house into two. His side and her side. And then they could just live separate lives. Strange advice since they hadn't slept in the same bed for 20+ years and he already lived on the side with the TV.

Ok, start of Day... 8? Been easy this week since having to deal with broken washing machines leaves little time for other stuff.
