Anyway, emailed the customer support that video. Curious of the outcome.

Gay, the shaft that the second hand rides on is bent and off center causing it to bind :wtfgay:

Customer support is mailing a replacement :sun:

But in the mean time, I smashed an awl/scribe type thing in between the second hand post and shaft wall in a feeble attempt to straighten it. Didn't seem to help but it did make it a little more sloppy it seems, so might not rub with as much force. Polished the second hand shaft some and then added a drop of lube and put it all back together. Working so far.

This thread one if the most offensive threads I've ever read.

Radio controlled clocks.
Hands
Chinese hardware

lube
Switching clock faces

Who the fuck do you think you are?

For the next step, I'm going to glue some flat tritium vials to the hands so I can see what time it is at night :sun: Decent stuff at https://www.mixglo.com/store/p50/T1.5x3x25Y.html

Now I will need to swap out the spade style clock hands with some flat clock hands so they will mount/look better.

Smaller than I thought. Going to be hard to glue to the clock hands :eusa_think:

Got the vials glued. Was hard with shaky adderall hands. Barely enough clearance between the second and minute hand :scared:

Used GE supreme indoor outdoor silicon caulk. Just a tiny dab, smeared around with a toothpick. Silicon is typically acidic and will corrode metal, but this stuff seems to be metal safe and holds good to glass. :stoner:

They are kind of bright for tritium vials. Never seen so bright before.

Bring these to a rave party next time.
