Ear plugs are for some free range water diving I am doing next month. Last time I swam, water pressure was really hurting my ears at only 7ft. Also need to work on increasing my breath holding.

If you are diving you should use a mask and pressure equalize. Think what happens when the earplugs stop working and water gets past at 30 feet, ouch.

Bla. Spent way too much time screwing with minecraft this week. Started with just a bit of "let me play to relax with the kids". Then to let me help them more. Then to about 20 hours screwing with benchmarking the java garbage collectors 
Then to "hey, I should learn java better and teach the kids to love it by learning how to make minecraft mods". But instead of messing with mods, I just played more minecraft. Now it is Saturday and people at work have complained about me spending two weeks on tickets that should only take 30 minutes. So now I need to do a weeks worth of work in a few hours (again)
