Hello everyone,
as most of you are aware of the economy is kind of weak and I'm struggling to get a job. I've been recently offered a job as a type of entertainer for children. The job includes singing, that I move around gracefully and teach children about different farm animals. The problem is that I'm kind of old and I think I have heart problems. Just being near the children would perhaps trigger a stroke or a heart attack so I think I'm likely to drink on the job just to cope with it. Also for every little break I get I will probably smoke a lot of cigarettes. It is important that I can hide this otherwise it would be unprofessional. Any ideas how I can do this?
I'm not that young anymore and I'm not sure if I can dance gracefully, or perhaps that's the whole point so that I can get the children to laugh. The job is essentially a children's clown job and I'm afraid of that this job would stain my work history so that I can never get a decent job ever again.
What do you think, should I take this job or should I pass. I really need a job but I'm not sure this is worth it as the pay is not that great anyway. It's basically paid on commission and the agency takes 40% of the fee which is not based on time but on every order.
