Why the "sport" designation? Is faster than the regular ones?

It's like giving a large Caterpillar excavator a sport name.

Some models come with a leather case instead of the texture one like for the sport one.

Hopefully it is elk leather because it is strong and sturdy, also feels good.

I just need the shaver. Don't plan on using the accessories.

Tried it out last night (on face, not balls). Not too impressed. My 15 year old philips just has two foils and a small thing in the middle for chomping the longer hairs. The foils on the Braun are larger, and it has two long hair chomper things in the middle. The end result is the head it a lot bigger on the braun. Works great on the cheeks, but I don't really have thick hair there. The annoying spots like under the nose and the jaw line are not sped up with the larger head of the braun.
I'm waffling a bit on whether to send it back or not.

Bla, I should have taken it back. Don't really like it after using a couple of months. For one, the head is bigger than the cutting blades, so it leaves a strip of hair near my ear unless I really work at it:
PXL_20240714_153728920.jpg
The head just seems too big to really be effective and makes for an annoying experience. It also likes to leave random long hairs on my neck. Had the same issue with the Philips, but this is worse. It does cut faster than the Philips, kinda one pass and you are done, you had to work at it with the philips. But the philips does cut ever so closer. The battery looks to last a couple of months with me and my wife using it. The Philips was down to just 5 days or so.

I don't see myself keeping it for 15 years like my philips. I only went with Braun because I was watching a documentary on high speed photography like 12 years ago and one of the users of a fancy high speed camera was Braun. They wanted to see how their shavers cut in slow motion so they could better understand and improve. I thought "Cool, I'll go with them next time I need a shaver" :gaytard:

Is that Philips with those rotary blades?

If you want a precision shaver you should try Philips one blade. However, it doesn't shave that close.

I have a Braun series 7, used it for 15 years. It's getting old so I need a newer one but I'm waiting for a shaver with an OLED display because that is what is important with electric shavers.

BTW you have white hair, must have been all those stressful Rage3d years. I've lived several centuries and have no white hairs, the secret is that you drink good beer.

I want a shaver with a pull start and runs on the same denatured alcohol used for camp stoves. Good when you're camping.
