For today, going to use up my vision insurance before it ends and get my daughter free glasses. Also need to make dentist and orthodontist appointments for the kids and hopefully get free dental work before insurance ends

Well I actually got a termination letter to my personal email. So I guess the payroll department knows I quit. So I'm not going to be getting free paychecks for life

Might have to add https://news.ycombinator.com/ to the list. Turning into a cesspool of people screaming about how a tyrant is tearing apart our country. The last time I saw this amount of anti-trump fud was 2018/2019.

Cool, termination letter says benefits stay until the end of the month. Going to burn it up.

You know in many countries in Europe, the notice period is 3 months. That means if you have a job you hate and want a new job you need to tell the new employer to wait 3 months unless you some vacation days to take out.

Haven't ordered yet. I think I'll sleep on it a bit. I'm sure I've probably forgotten something.

Got a family dentist appointment today. Hopefully my nearly expired insurance will pay for it. Plus wife's car still in the shop so I'm going to have to borrow my grandpa's car which has no car seat so I'll have to just let my infant son free roam on the floorboard and hope the cops/cps doesn't find out.

Then onto more react native training which is going super slow still. It is just ever so slightly subtly different from web page design to really break my brain

Man the stupid react native training is made up of hundreds of small less than 5 minute videos and I seem to only be able to get through a couple of them a day
