Gay, the shaft that the second hand rides on is bent and off center causing it to bind

Customer support is mailing a replacement 
But in the mean time, I smashed an awl/scribe type thing in between the second hand post and shaft wall in a feeble attempt to straighten it. Didn't seem to help but it did make it a little more sloppy it seems, so might not rub with as much force. Polished the second hand shaft some and then added a drop of lube and put it all back together. Working so far.
