Had some sort of department wide end of year meeting. Two hours long. The main guy talking had a demeanor as if he was talking to retarded sloths. There are many things brought up that I thought were worry of questioning or commenting on further, and there was supposed to be a Q&A session afterwards. We get to the Q&A, I've got a few questions on a note card. I didn't want to be the first to say something, especially since there were team leads and managers on. A few seconds tick by, they roll to the next slide which says "Happy Holidays", they say the same then hang up.

150 people on that call and no one had any comment about management telling us we need to be more "agile", streamline processes, and that there are plans to move mainframes ops into "the cloud"?

I got this Cree LED bulb that keeps flashing. Tapping on it. Would usually fix it. But now when I tapped on it this little LED fell off so I guess I might try to solder it.

Not sure how that is going to affect the other LEDs. There are 11 LEDs and now 10 so I guess that's like a 10% more power going through the other ones?

Work has been gay as usual. Still haven't done anything, still tons of meetings where I listen to indians read off tickets that are in the queue.

Yesterday, wife stepped off of the back steps and rolled her ankle super bad with a nice "pop" sound. Now she can't walk. Still made love though, just had her feet in the air, which was kind of cool. Spermed inside Had to get up at 4am to help her get to the toilet. Helping girls pee turns me on.

Had more meetings at work. The team lead asked the manager if we could all go home at noon to get an early start on christmas break, she said she couldn't do noon, but would allow 2pm. I'm sure tons of work got done between 12 and 2 Team lead still had the "end of day" meeting, just at 1:30. He spent 5 minutes telling us about some unrelated stuff on a different team. Then talked about how the canadian team gets the 25th and 26th off for some reason. We only get the 25th off. Then he started talking about how he stocks up on aspirin and cottage cheese with pineapple on black fridays for the rest of the 25 minutes. He then wished use "happy holidays" and that he'd see us again at the end of the break. We only have tomorrow off

Then I had to drive to go get some crutches from a relative. Had amazon deliver an ankle brace via a free one week Prime trial which I just canceled Now I'm going to learn some react native and then roast some coffee
