Also realized there is a bunch of antifreeze in the oil of the tractor.

You need an engine rebuild. That tractor looks older than any alive today. Nothing wrong with, just that the engine needs a complete tear down.

Mice, you need a cat.
Re: My activities for the month of stardate 20121 are/is
The head gasket was replaced 15 years ago. Probably less than 300 hours on it since then. Also found out my grandpa didn't have the head milled last time it was done. Really lame. Though it could have just been crappy antifreeze that caused this.NinjaPoodle wrote: ↑Mon Feb 10, 2025 4:48 pmYou need an engine rebuild. That tractor looks older than any alive today. There is a 2018 John Deere 5045e down the street for sale for $13k. 45hp, 2.9l turbo 3 cylinder, no front loader though. Funny since the current tractor is 2.9l 3 cylinder and makes 55hp without a turbo

Their house if full of rats and mice because there is cat food everywhere

Re: My activities for the month of stardate 20121 are/is
Basically just looked at tractors all day on facebook marketplace
And so many are obviously scams.
Went and picked up my wife's car from my uncle's shop. The whole point I used his shop to fix the fuel pump was because on the Grand Marquis, it is easy access. Plenty of people on youtube changing it in their driveway in less than an hour. And because I thought that would be cheap, I told them to go ahead and fix the window motors on two of the doors. Was expecting a bill of $600-$1000 tops. This is family after all and he knows I'm now unemployed. Bill was $1450. $900 for the fuel pump alone.
And I still got to get my son to the dentist for braces this week. And I got a fence guy coming out soon to do some fence work. And I still need to buy a new tractor. I was hoping I could stretch $20k out for a year. I have no house payment and only spend $1k a month on food. And now it looks like one week after quitting work, I'm going to go through the entire years budget on crap I don't even want
Couldn't sleep good last night because I kept having nightmares of me running out of money next month

I probably should have stayed at my bank job another month or two before quitting. I was being nice by giving them such an early notice. They truly thought I was going to be some sort of savior on that team so I wanted to leave before they really started planning out the future.

Just buy this one.

It's about $300,000 but it's good. Just sell that coffee roaster, then you're good.

If you want to become a farmer tycoon you just have to start thinking like one. Forget that computer fag stuff as AI is going to program fag stuff anyway.
Re: My activities for the month of stardate 20121 are/is
Yea, I think this is the gasket here.
The water passages are on the outside. And I assume the round holes are for oil. And there is not much area between the two in a few places. I fear that a rust channel has formed bridging the two. So a new gasket might work, or might not. Might watch some youtube videos of wiggers testing out radiator stop leak snake oil. Might try a can before tear it apart. Also might just sale it as is and move on

If you sell it you must buy a new tractor. A real man must have a tractor.Smucky wrote: ↑Thu Feb 13, 2025 12:19 am

Yea I went by a tractor shop yesterday and will probably get a 2017 John Deere 5045e for $13k. It is bare bones without a front loader, but that can be bought new for $10k. I'll worry about that part next year.NinjaPoodle wrote: ↑Thu Feb 13, 2025 1:04 pmIf you sell it you must buy a new tractor. A real man must have a tractor.Smucky wrote: ↑Thu Feb 13, 2025 12:19 am

Yeah, you should buy that one.
But why is the exhaust almost in the face so that you can suck on it.
Also, it looks like the 2WD version.
BTW. shouldn't you check some bankruptcy auctions?
John Deere 5045E, Built in Pune, Maharashtra, India

This one is perfect.

Find one at your next bankruptcy auction.

Probably, but I'm lazy, give me some links

I dug through this, didn't see anything https://www.onlinepros.com/
There is a big texas farm auction a few times a year. Since farmers go to it, all the farm stuff goes sky high. All the non-farm stuff stays super cheap.

Their mowers are made in USA, the "tractors" are just rebranded asian stuff.NinjaPoodle wrote: ↑Thu Feb 13, 2025 8:03 pm There is actually a brand called Bad Boy

First you need to fix it. Just pour a few eggs in the coolant and it will run for some hours.Smucky wrote: ↑Fri Feb 14, 2025 12:00 amSmucky wrote: ↑Thu Feb 13, 2025 11:58 pm
