But on the other hand, the "HR lawyer" did get back with me from old job. Got a meeting scheduled for tomorrow afternoon with the new CEO (the one that laid everyone off). I'm assume it is to discuss my rejection of the severance agreement paperwork and not to offer me a job

And Morgan Stanley got back with me and they want to push farther. Next interview is Wednesday 8am

I got high hopes, but seems like the probability of me getting the first job I applied to, and the only one to interview me, is very low/unheard of. Maybe GOD is blessing me? Should I celebrate by looking at pron?

This was interesting. I joined the meeting and the CEO was all smiles, basically acting like he cared so much that he was just randomly scheduling meetings with the people that were laid off. After lots of small talk (all while smiling) I stated I had a few issues with the severance paperwork and had sent my concerns to the "HR lawyer". To which he replied that he was not aware of any of that. I'm thinking that is a lie. I told him I wanted more severance pay, he seemed happy because that was "something that is easy to fix". With a bit of back any forth, I got it bumped a good amount. There was more small talk, and he seemed clueless when I mentioned the issues of so many American companies now outsourcing IT work over seas. Funny because his linkedin profile basically states that offshoring is his specialty

This really leaves a sour taste in my mind towards management.
